Free Termite Inspection

Many homeowners don’t have their homes inspected as often as they should for termites.  In fact, some homeowners haven’t had a termite inspection in years, if at all.  There are a variety of reasons for this.  Some people think that it is too expensive and others don’t believe they have a termite problem. Unfortunately, most homeowners don’t realize they have a termite problem until termite damage has already occurred. That’s why Termite Control Arizona is offering a free termite inspection service that will help homeowners understand if they have a termite problem and to determine the best termite treatment to eliminate them.

Do I need a free termite inspection?

  • If your home was built before 2000
  • There is any sign of water damage
  • Exterior cracks in your home at least 1/64”
  • You have not had a termite inspection in the past 12-24 months

Termite Inspection

For termite control, Arizona requires all termite control experts to be licensed through the Office of Pest Control Management (OPM).  For your protection, only allow a properly licensed termite control expert to inspect your property.  They are specially trained to go through your property looking for termite infestations and termite damage.  This includes looking underneath your property at the foundation as well as up in the attic where many termites thrive and feed on wood beams and ceilings.  If you live in a newer home, you may be protected from the more devastating subterranean termites.  However, all Arizona homeowners are at risk for drywood termites.  These small critters squeeze through cracks as small as 1/64th” in diameter and start colonizing virtually undetected.  That is, until a termite control expert spots them and plans for their extermination from the property.

Termite Inspection Report

When the termite control expert completes the examination of your property, the homeowner will receive a termite inspection report.  If no termites are found then the homeowner can breathe a sigh of relief.  To avoid any potential termite problems in the future, it is recommended that the homeowner have regular termite control services to exterminate against termites.

If termites are found, the termite expert will indicate the species and will note any termite damage on the termite inspection report. The report will recommend a course of action to get rid of the termite problem before the home is damaged further.

Termite Treatment Cost

The termite treatment cost will depend upon the extent of fumigation necessary.  For larger infestations and heavy termite damage, the cost can be steep.  However, if left untreated, the termite population will continue to grow and they will eventually destroy the entire home.

Don’t wait until you have termite damage to find out that you have a termite problem.  Call Termite Control Arizona and get a free termite inspection today!
